Where do we go From Here?

Today marks 100 days since the launch of FilpFlopBarack.com and many have enjoyed the pointed political satire that we presented. Some of course, mainly those who were the brunt of our satire, may not have been so pleasantly entertained as others. As we look forward to the 2010 Congressional elections and the 2012 Presidential election we also need to look back at the past year, the first year of this darkness we call the Obama years. The past 100 days of political satire at FlipFlopBarack.com were meant to be a sampling or ‘snap-shot’ if you will of the outrageous behavior, antics, blatant disregard for our Constitution, and outright treason that have become the norm in our government.

Where do we go From Here?

Something has gone terribly wrong in our government when the so called ‘political elite’ put themselves above the law, above the Constitution, and above the interests of the good citizens they are suppose to represent. A highly publicized incident that demonstrates that ‘elitism’ is the ‘Joe the Plumber’ saga. We all know how big bad government ‘elitists’ abused and twisted their power in an attempt to discredit and destroy this common citizen ‘Joe the plumber’. Joe’s crime,… he simply asked a question of candidate Barack Obama. But ‘Joe’ prevailed. He was not afraid to stand up for his rights under the Constitution and he let those ‘elitists’ know that in no uncertain terms. We need more ‘Joe the Plumbers’, a true American.

The elections in 2010 and 2012 are crucial to the fate of our great nation and our Constitution. Almost all of our elected officials in the Federal government are up for re-election in 2010 and the remainder including the President are up for re-election in 2012. Many current and would be ‘political elitists’ are formulating their plans to capture a seat in our House of Representatives and our Senate. Unfortunately, I fear the great many of those who aspire to popular election in 2010 and 2012 are merely seeking the office for their own selfish and unjust gain at the expense of the good citizens and the Constitution of this great country. Much like the ‘carpetbaggers’ of past political history. (If you’re too young to know what ‘carpetbagger’ means then go look it up. Here’s a hint: it’s the definition of Hillary Clinton.) These so called ‘elitists’ have trampled our Constitution, trampled our freedoms, and made a mockery of our Justice system. What happened to Constitutional continuity? What happened to Judicial continuity? When did our Constitutional right to freedom of speech become ‘politically incorrect’? When did the so called ‘thought police’ emerge? When did the good citizens of this country become afraid of their government? I can’t tell you exactly when it began, you can study history and find many points at which we lost a part of what made America what it once was, but I can tell you when it culminated into a massive pile of ‘dung’ that is currently called our Federal government. January 20, 2009, inauguration day for President Barack Hussein Obama, when our misguided rush into ‘progressivism’ and radical Marxist ideas disguised as liberalism culminated into the darkest hour in our country’s history, these dark times we now call the Obama years.

Just as the opportunistic ‘carpetbaggers’ of our past, these modern day ‘carpetbaggers/political elitists’ will do whatever it takes to win the office they seek. With Mr. Obama as their ultimate example of how to lie to and manipulate the voting citizens to get what they need to gain power, these new ‘carpetbaggers’ are maneuvering, positioning, and posturing for their respective political jousts and all only for their own selfish, indifferent, and unjust gain. What a sad spectacle to watch. Where are the Thomas Jefferson’s of our time? Where are the George Washington’s of our time? What happened to the Paul Revere’s and the Andrew Jackson’s of our time? I fear, after generations of government programmed dumbing down of our citizens and attacks on our Constitutional freedoms of speech by all levels of government including the Judicial branch who is charged with protecting our Constitutional rights and who has failed miserably and purposefully, that we no longer have in our midst or can recognize in our midst the George Washington’s and Andrew Jackson’s of our time.

But there is yet hope. There is at least one ‘Joe the Plumber’ and ‘Joe’ didn’t move to Chappaqua to take advantage of the good citizens as at least one of these modern day ‘carpetbaggers’ has done. I believe there are many thousands, even millions more ‘Joe’s’ among us. Waiting, looking for the opportunity to join together and defeat this horrific wave of radical Marxism that has festered its way into our government and the very fabric of our free society. Join us at RealityCheckUSA.org and FlipFlopBarack.com as we look forward to the 2010 and 2012 elections.

Hi I_like_ike52:You write that the state has no mandate to stick its fengirs in everyone’s pockets and take their hard earned money in order to make a “more equitable distribution of wealth†. But that's not the issue that is being debated in this country. The issue in question is a tax increase on the wealthiest 1 or 2 percent of the population. This is hardly everyone's pocket . The people that this tax increase would impact can easily afford it. In other words their quality of life would not suffer and the rest of society would be better off. Also this would relieve the tax burden on the rest of us. In other words, in principle, the taxes of 98% of us could be reduced. Therefore the net tendency of the government to stick its finger into everyone's pockets could go down. The way I look at it is that if you tax the rich they are still rich and the rest of get some relief and are better off. I call this a win-win.

The people are the pfeurowl. We find ourselves in a moment in history that feels like a change in the tides; the sands of tyranny that built up the prison that is the War on Terror are sifting from its foundation. The destruction of indiviudals' family-life privacy, invasion by illegal war-time-justified government surveillence (financial, web-watching, electronic, etc); an environment of fear-mongering.The more free a group is, the more moral it capable of being. Despite the fact that individuals might not select moral decisions if provided self-agency and personal freedom, it is still true that slavery results in zero morality. Freedom is Godly; Statism is Satan Worship. As our resident overlords found their Hyde, the sheeple find the state as their bride.

Right on!! I love the use of the word 'carpetbaggers'. It describes many of our politicians to a 'tee'. FlipFlopBarack.com, you've got my support!!! Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see what you have coming next. The people of this country need to wake up. As you said, it seems people live in fear of our government. So much so that they seem to even be afraid to leave their e-mail in order to participate by leaving a comment. E-mail addresses are very temporary and can easily be shut down and a new one openned. Or better yet, open up an e-mail address just for patriot participation such as this. As you said, if people are too afraid to disclose something as trivial as an e-mail address then what good are they. Living in that much fear of our government is no way to live. Hey everyone let's ALL support the folks at FlipFlopBarack.com, even if its just to leave a comment. I'd love to banter back and forth with you'al.
